Grounded Porcelain Socket - Black

An updated version of a vintage socket style, this is the only UL listed 3-conductor black porcelain socket on the market. Display it bare with an exposed bulb, with a bulb cage addition, or in conjunction with a colorful socket cover, but no matter how you design it, this socket brings a sleek finish to your fixture.

This socket is made out of ceramic porcelain with a premium glossy black glaze and comes with a matching black cap that is also featured on our porcelain cord plug-in set. For a clean look, the cap of the socket is secured with included screws from the inside of the socket.

Our porcelain socket is also easily paired with our cloth covered wire sold by the foot. However, if you plan on making a DIY light cord with this socket, we highly recommend using a cord grip/strain relief for a secure attachment. Cord grips are sold separately. With all lighting projects and DIY fixture assembly, we always recommend consulting a licensed electrician.
