Basic Socket - Black

Our most popular socket pairs perfectly with cloth covered wire and is a must-have for most lighting projects. The Basic Socket is a simple socket made out of hard black plastic with a smooth surface that also works nicely with our socket covers should you want to complete your fixture with a decorative finish. However, if you plan on making a DIY light cord with this socket, we highly recommend using a cord grip for a secure attachment. Cord grips are sold separately.

These sockets are self-locking! Do not assemble the sockets with the terminal inside before it is wired. The terminal will lock the socket permanently.
